CoD4 News : Obsidian Empire answers the Call Of Duty!

We are forming a Cod4 team to play as a TWL ladder team in preparation for TWL and CAL leagues. We are currently looking for a few more good players to help the CoD4 team. Check out our team on the TWL site as we prepare to climb the TWL ladder.

ETQW News : Get ready for some new TWL Action baby!!!

First of all, many congrats to the FEAR team! We had a good group of players that showed how a team based game should and could be played. We didn't have a flawless record in the TWL and took some knocks. But we hung in there for a 15-12 record. By far the longest running clan in the FEAR CTF ladder with the most games played. Ending up in permanent 2nd place in that ladder. The FEAR experience also help bring in some quality players that contributed greatly to the ladder record, but more importantly the quality of the Obsidian Empire. Welcome aboard -KID-, Halford, Dale Gribble, Nameless (Wolfx, New daddy), Mudhand, and Oojay! And of course a big thanks to the regular cast of characters that help support this division: Biocyte, All-Star, Q-jet, Cheezer, Superman, Jdude, Sextron, Krugg, FrozenDragon, GT-Dawg, Sixtring, Betadata, David3k and yours truly. I’m sure I forgot a name, so please forgive. Extra Kudos to GT-Dawg as we couldn’t have provided FEAR servers to play on without his server hosting contribution and time.
Now we embark on our next mission. To have fun and continue the good spirit of team play in ET:QW. As always we are recruiting. But we don't look for quantity, never have. We look for quality and long term commitment. While it would be handy to recruit the hired gun for the game at the moment, that doesn't contribute to the make up of the Obsidian Empire. Nor do we limit by experience rank level. We are more concerned about your game maturity and desire to learn and grow. If this sounds like the clan you've been looking for, drop us a line in the forums. Look forward to fraggin with ya!

Well we have been hitting the pubs hardcore and getting our game on in the newley released ETQW. So far the game is what we expected and we are having good turnout to meets and matches. We will soon be playing in a few ladders and checking out some leagues. We ARE recruiting btw so if you are interested please post and let us know.
In other game news, The Orange Box is out and about and kicking some ass as well :). If you don't have it yet, get it. You can't beat the value for your money. Portal is insane and TF2 is good as well. No DM though :/. That aside it is a good package for your money.
The demo for UT3 is out so pick it up ;)

If you have a Fileplanet acct, you can gewt in on the beta. Most of us are in it already and so far the game is fun. Once we learn all of the classes and how to play properly it should be a good game for the oE to dive into.
A FP acct is cheap and always worth it since you do get a shot at the latest games and demos to come out.

Been waiting for a good replacement for FEAR and thought ET:Quake Wars was around the corner. But it appears there is another delay. July!!!!??? Anyhoo, with the wait in mind, what is everyone playing or getting ready to play? Strangly enough, I think The Ship has some good potential. Check out this trailer.
Next vote is Shadow Run, as finally a game where PC gamers can own Xbox users. And if ET:QW ever releases...I'm there!!!

While we wait for QW to hit the stands, we have a growing 2142 division. I have been talking to GT and it looks like we might get a server going. Hopefully there will be enough of you playing to merit one.
Also I would like to request you all start logging into TS so that we can communicate, when we do play, a lil better ;)
Usually I am on at or around 10:00 pm est. I will be on the TS server.

We played and beat RP last night in four games three to one. That advanced us to second place in the league with only X clan left to play.
Looking forward to that match sometime this week.
A big good job goes out to:
Klinger, GTdawg, Dr.Mack, Allstar, Betadata, Superman, Slayer, Cheezer, Tommyboy and everyone else that might have helped us along the way.
There might be someone else but I can't remember atm. ;)
We will be playing in the EFX league coming up next month I believe. Would be cool to see some more old school [oo] and oE| tag up and join in on the fun.
Disintegration never gets old :)

Yep we made it to the final four. We will be playing RP in the first round, and if we win then we will prolly play X for the prize.
The final four are XF - RP - X and oE.
After two years we still got our mojo :P
